The Mechanicsburg Rotary students for the month of November were introduced on November 4 and 11 and were interviewed by Pres. Amy Bockis.
 Titus Wiggins attends Mechanicsburg Area Senior High School. His parents are Steve and Lisette Wiggins. He is involved with the National Honor Society, the French National Honor Society and PALS @ MASH. His extracurricular activities include cross country, track, Special Olympics Bocce, trumpet in band (5th chair at districts) and Jazz Band (Sophomore Year only). His other interests include Youth Group, piano, and running/working-out on his own. After HS he plans to attend Crown College or Toccoa Falls College and study International Business and Engineering. |  Alexis Vincent attends Cumberland Perry AVTS. Her parent is Kerry Vincent. She is involved with the GSA club and volunteer work at school. After school hours she is on a soccer team and works at Rite Aid and Tidy Maid. Her hobby is playing the piano. After HS she plans to attend Pitt or Johnstown and study psychology. |
 Jeb Buehler attends West Shore Christian Academy. His parents are Jennifer and Joe Buehler. He is involved with National Honors Society, West Shore Evangelical Free Church Preschool Teacher and Teacher's Assistant, 1st-grade Teachers Assistant (West Shore Christian Academy). His extracurricular activities include School and AAU Basketball, School Baseball, and West Shore Student Life Committee. His hobby is basketball. After high school he plans to attend Washington and Lee, Messiah, Dickinson, Princeton, Bucknell, or University of Richmond and study economics, actuarial science or finance. | Declan Cudahy  attends Trinity High School. His parents are Roxane and Thomas Cudahy. He is involved with Politics Club,Investors Club, Spanish Club, and Quiz Bowl. His extracurricular activities include Tennis and work at Wegmans. His hobbies include tennis, listening to political podcasts, investing, and watching YouTube. After high school he plans to attend Penn State, University of Pennsylvania, Villanova, Notre Dame or Catholic University and study finance and political science. |
The Rotary Club invites students from five schools to attend club meetings for a month during the school year. Each month a new group of students is invited. At the end of the school year, the club awards $2,000 scholarships to a student from each school based on an application which they submit and the interactions that occur at the meetings. Students who continue their education in Pennsylvania also have an opportunity to receive a $2,000 matching grant from PHEAA (Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency) based on need.
