The Yellow Breeches Rotary Club received a very interesting presentation from Rotary Youth Exchange Student, Jessica 'Jess' Miller, at the club meeting on September 6, 2023.

Jessica has recently returned from her year as a Youth Exchange Student to the Rotary Club of Keerbergen, Belgium (District 2140). She spoke to the club and used a PowerPoint presentation to illustrate her adventures. She had a lot of them including six host families and a lot of traveling within Belgium and with a Euro tour of six countries. It seems that she had many ups and downs as she struggled with the language and with a variety of personalities. She found the foods so different but interesting and enjoyable. Her main form of transportation to and from school was a bicycle which was one of the common forms of transportation. Overall she was very pleased with the trip and all of the friends and memories she has made.
We thank Jess for the very interesting presentation and are so happy that we were able to participate by being her sponsoring Rotary Club. Club member, Elliot Markovitz, was her counselor.
